| Kate Davern is a
second-generation dog trainer with over 30 years experience.
After spending the first few years of her life pretending
to be one of the Golden Retrievers (referring to herself
as "Pipsqueak") training them seemed to
be a natural next step.
Her delight in watching dogs work has led her to
many different facets of the dog training world. From
competition obedience to behavioral modification,
gun dog training, protection work, and most recently,
training search and rescue dogs for the National
Disaster Search Dog Foundation at Sundowners Kennel.
